The Christmas Story large-scale nativity collection has a majestic presence. The two-piece set of Mary and Joseph fit with the three Gentle Animals of the Stable on the wood base of the 24"h Sanctuary backdrop. Pierced metal Tree Silhouettes can add color and texture. The Enclosure Card reads: "Her name is Mary. His name is Joseph. The baby, Jesus." The nativity set features two hand-painted resin figures, the tallest of which is 14.5"h. Joseph, standing in a cream garment and rust-colored cloak, carries a wood staff, while Mary is seated on a gray rock with a rust blanket, wearing a light blue dress and blue cloak, and holding the infant Jesus in a cream blanket. This collection complements the Sanctuary for The Christmas Story and Gentle Animals of the Stable, creating a complete nativity scene.

Artist Susan Lordi hand carves the original of each Willow Tree piece from her studio in Kansas City, MO. These pieces are cast from Susan's original carvings and painted by hand. The nativity set is ready to display on a shelf, table, or mantel. To clean, simply dust with a soft brush or cloth.
